The Saints have added three assistants to the staff of Sean Payton, including Rams interim coach Joe Vitt as assistant head coach/linebackers; Doug Marrone as offensive coordinator/offensive line and John Bonamego as special teams coordinator.

Marrone, a former offensive lineman who played the 1989 season with the Saints, spent the last four seasons with the New York Jets as offensive line coach. Payton will call his own plays in New Orleans.
