The Boston Globe reported that Welker's offseason media tour -- featuring a heavy dose of honest feelings about his contract situation -- tweaked the organization. Welker has signed his franchise tender but clearly is unhappy that he doesn't have a long-term deal. The Patriots desire a tight-lipped roster. They aren't thrilled with their star receiver hitting the airwaves, chatting about his contract or lack thereof. It remains to be seen if the tweeting adds to their irritation.
