According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, Coale broke the fifth metatarsal in his left foot, the source said, an ailment that could hold him out for a month. This would put his availability for mandatory minicamp in jeopardy. Coale was spotted by a reporter for DallasCowboys.com icing his foot and undergoing an MRI. The team's practice was not open to reporters. A fifth-round pick out of Virginia Tech, Coale impressed NFL.com personnel guru Gil Brandt with his speed and hands.
