If the Raiders go with a platoon system of tight ends along with Brandon Myers and Richard Gordon, Ausberry will probably have the best receiving stats of the three.

So predicted Tribune staffer Jerry McDonald, who has covered the team on a daily basis for years now. According to McDonald, Ausberry made a number of plays during team and 7-on-7 sessions held during Tuesday's OTA session. McDonald's prediction makes sense. Myers is a solid receiver/blocker as a backup and a very good special teams player. Gordon is an effective enough blocker to play fullback on occasion. Ausberry's blocking is a work in progress but he is an athletic and potentially explosive wide receiver making him a player worth watching in very deep leagues.
