Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
HC Marvin Lewis said last week on NFL Network that if the season started tomorrow, either Tate or Armon Binns would be the starter, mainly because of their experience on offense. But it's widely believed rookie Mohamed Sanu will earn the spot before the season starts. Fellow rookie Marvin Jones will be in the mix, too. Meanwhile, QB Andy Dalton is fine working with Tate. "I'm excited about him," Dalton said. "He's done a good job. You can tell he's put in the work this offseason. He's running around well, and right now it's just getting everybody on the same page. ..." Indeed, it does seem like Tate, previously limited to working as a return man, has progressed enough to be tagged as a possible offensive contributor. But a front-line role seems unlikely at this point.
