The Facts:
Following up on the
ongoing story. ... HC Mike Mularkey said he hasn't talked to Jones-Drew, who has skipped all the voluntary drills, about whether he plans to come to the mandatory minicamp in mid-June. He can be fined if he doesn't attend.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
For what it's worth, the coach also said he has seen no signs on videotape that Jones-Drew has lost any explosiveness. Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com recently wrote, "Jaguars sources say he isn't nearly as explosive as he used to be and I would agree." Mularkey replied, "Which Jaguars? I have no idea where that came from. I still see Mojo as being Mojo. ..." Mularkey's stance is understandable. Jones-Drew accounted for a franchise-record 47.7 percent of the Jaguars offense in 2011, the highest percentage in the NFL. In 12 of the 16 games, he accounted for at least 40 percent of the club's offense and at least 50 percent in eight games. No other NFL player accounted for more than 40 percent of his team's offense in 2011 as he led the NFL in rushing. Prisco's reporting notwithstanding, we suspect Jones-Drew will continue to be the team's most dangerous offensive weapon again this year.
