The 6-5, 220-pound Stovall played in 15 games for the Lions last year (mostly on special teams) with one reception for eight yards. The Lions signed him to a one-year free agent contract last August. He spent his first five seasons with the Buccaneers. According to DetroitLions.com staffer Tim Twentyman, Stovall's signing instantly makes the Lions' special teams units better.
