Reece, an exclusive rights free agent, wants a long-term contract from the Raiders and it's believed his absence from early-offseason activities was related to that. On Monday, Reece caved and signed his one-year tender, the Raiders announced. He'll earn $540,000 in 2012, and be eligible for restricted free agency in 2013.

We tend to agree with PFT's Evan Silva, who characterized Reece as "one of the more underrated players in the game today." The convered wide receiver runs in the low-4.4s at 6-3 and 240 pounds. He excels in the passing game and Silva believes the veteran fullback could take on a larger offensive role this season with Michael Bush gone to Chicago.
