Faulk feels like he’s got one more run in him, and he’s working to get that opportunity with the Patriots. “I hope so. I’m still praying, hoping,” Faulk said. “But if it doesn’t happen, hey, I’m moving on.”

According to the Herald, the Pats haven’t called him about returning to the team for a 14th season in 2012 and it's not clear that they will. It’s early June, so there’s obviously no rush to get Faulk back on the field, particularly since the Patriots know he won’t sign anywhere else. Still, Herald staffer Jeff Howe reports that Faulk actually wants to be with the team right now. He wants to be part of the team-building process, so it’s been tough on him not to be at practice during these offseason workouts.
