The Facts:
Here's a quote from Colts RBs coach David Walker that should scare the team's fans: "(Brown) deserves to be the No. 1 back right now as we go through offseason training. But we'll see how that unfolds as we get to camp and start hitting, playing against other people in the preseason. Everybody wants to be that guy, and we'll give everybody that opportunity to show us he can be that guy."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal points out, Brown's career has been up and down. It ended on an up last season, but is he really an NFL starting running back? Brown's big-play potential and receiving skills are intriguing. And Delone Carter is capable of handling a power-rushing role. So it's hard to not to take Walker at his word. At this point, the most likely scenario -- even if Brown is the starter -- would be a platoon with Carter and perhaps one of the remaining free agents on the market (Cedric Benson and Ryan Grant come immediately to mind). Either way, Fantasy owners will want more clarity before investing heavily here.
