The Facts:
You hear Jim Harbaugh talk a lot about his players getting a little better each day. And the coach is more than happy with the jump in improvement he sees from his TE this offseason. "Davis is having an outstanding offseason," said Harbaugh. "Every day, just getting better at route-running; every facet of the tight end position, he's really excelling in that right now."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As CSNBayArea.com's Mindi Bach reminded readers, Davis has played under six different offensive coordinators in his six-year career. He says this offseason is the first time he's been able to not focus on the Xs and Os, and instead work on technique. "Every year (there) was always somebody coming in and we had to learn," said Davis. "Learn, learn, learn. We didn't have a chance to get better. ..." Near the end of last season Davis admitted he struggled initially to learn yet another new offensive system under Greg Roman. Davis finished the 2011 regular season with 67 catches for 792 yards with six TDs. But he started feeling comfortable near the end of the year, something he proved with 10 receptions, nearly 300 receiving yards and four touchdowns in the first two playoff games of his career. Fantasy owners be advised: If the playoffs were the start of a trend, bit things are coming.
