Broncos, Matt Prater Working On Extension
(6/8 2:16 PT)

The Facts:
Now that they've worked out a pay cut with defensive tackle Ty Warren, the Broncos' next contract priority is to reach agreement on a pay raise for Prater.  Reported by the Denver Post

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The team has slapped a $2.6 million franchise tag on Prater, who made $1.83 million as a restricted free agent in 2011. However, Prater and the Broncos have been working on a five-year contract extension that figures to average more than $3 million per. The two sides made enough progress last week for the Broncos to believe a settlement could be reached in time for the team's mandatory minicamp, which will be held next week.
