The Facts:
No surprises out of Cleveland, where HC Pat Shurmur hinted Thursday that Richardson is closing in on the team's starting running back job.
The Browns coach told The Plain Dealer it's "probably safe" to assume the first-round pick will sit atop the depth chart when the Eagles come to town for the season opener.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The news comes as no real surprise. After trading up to the third pick overall to secure his services, Browns GM Tom Heckert made it clear the Browns plan to make Richardson the workhorse. "I think it's pretty safe to say we draft a guy third overall, he's going to be the guy," said Heckert. ... Will Brandon Jackson and Montario Hardesty have roles behind Richardson? Jackson might. Hardesty? Not so much it appears. Whatever the case, Fantasy owners can count on Richardson carrying the load for the team immediately.
