Redskins vice president of football operations Vinny Cerrato denied reports Wednesday linking the team to Owens. "Our head coach [Joe Gibbs] said it before," Cerrato said. "We think he's an outstanding player, but he just doesn't fit us."

began reporting Wednesday that the Redskins would "be a major player in the Terrell Owens sweepstakes before it's all done. ..." Despite the denials, we have a hard time believing King made this up on his own. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
