The NFL finally handed down Simpson's suspension for violating the league's drug policy. Simpson won't be able to play or practice with the team during the first three weeks of the season. He'll be back, presumably as a starter, beginning in Week 4.

Originally drafted by the Bengals, Simpson has never been lacking for raw, physical tools. This preseason, he seems to finally also be clicking on the mental and effort side of the house. Simpson has looked very good on the field so far this offseason. If second-year quarterback Christian Ponder can get some time in the pocket, Simpson could be productive in the offense. This news means you can get him later in most drafts.
