Jets head coach Rex Ryan took a moment to tout Sanchez in a recent interview while also finding the time to praise Tim Tebow.

On Sanchez, Ryan said, “Sanchez looks great. This is the best he’s looked. He looks tremendous back there and there’s no quarterback controversy here. Mark is our quarterback; he’s our starting quarterback. Obviously Tebow can run the wildcat and things and be the primary backup quarterback, but Mark is our starting quarterback and he looks tremendous back there.” Whether Ryan is trying to convince us or himself is hard to determine, but the depth chart to start the season should be as quoted here. Should Sanchez not play well though, all bets are off.
