The Facts:
To a man, sources on the Bay area scene agree that Moss couldn’t be making a better impression in the early stages of the Niners’ offseason after a one-year layoff. “You can still see the Hall of Fame skills,” one team insider said of the 35-year-old Moss. “At times, he’s been unstoppable and he has very much quickly become the leader of the receiving corps. He sits in the front row in team meetings, takes notes and is extremely smart. He still has that major star power, and his teammates definitely recognize that.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to PFW's Dan Arkush, with Moss showing signs of life the consensus seems to be that the Niners’ overall WR corps is a whole lot better than it was last season. Two other pass catchers drawing particularly rave reviews up to now are Michael Crabtree, who has been thriving in his first full injury-free offseason with the team, and Kyle Williams, who has been an eye-opening force in the slot. ... Still, it's early and we all have plenty of time to figure out if Randy Moss and the Niners' receiving corps in general should be of greater Fantasy interest than they have been in recent seasons. But early indications are definitely positive.
