The Facts:
The Cardinals' biggest questions are at QB and RB. HC Ken Whisenhunt is confident that Kevin Kolb or John Skelton can do the job, and he is excited about Ryan Williams' progress. But Whisenhunt issued a challenge to Wells, who missed practice this off-season while rehabilitating his knee. "He's got to work himself back into being ready," Whisenhunt said. "We've done the right thing with Beanie, as far as the off-season. He's got to bust his tail over the next few weeks to be ready for training camp because we've had some guys look good there."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
At this point it appears Williams is actually ahead of Wells, who underwent
an unspecified procedure on his knee in January. The fact that he didn't return for OTAs and mini-camps
as expected -- along with his
vague answers to questions about the nature of his surgery -- have added to the intrigue. We'll obviously be watching this one closely, looking specifically for signs that Williams remains ahead of Wells in terms of health and even more so for signs that Williams is ahead of Wells in on-field status (it seems wise given the circumstances and Whisenhunt's challenge).
