The Facts:
The Cardinals aren't saying they are morphing into the Patriots, who have a devastating tight end duo in Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez. But the TE position should be a strength, and if it is, that could open things up more for Larry Fitzgerald. "Wes Welker still gets his 100 catches a year," Fitzgerald said of the Patriots receiver. "To be honest with you, I think the tight ends are probably our strongest position on the field right now.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As Republic staffer Kent Somers pointed out, Todd Heap, when healthy, has been one of the leading receivers at the position over the past decade. Coaches are excited about the potential of Rob Housler, a rookie last year, because he has the speed to cause matchup problems for defenses. Veteran Jeff King is probably the best all-around tight end on the team. "You have Housler," Fitzgerald explained. "He's probably one of the fastest tight ends in the game. Todd Heap is one of the most skilled, experienced guys around. Jim Dray is an all-around consistent guy. And Jeff King last year was probably our best free-agent acquisition in terms of what he was able to do, his consistency, his work ethic. .." Needless to say, we're on board with anything that makes Fitz happy. And we'll be keeping an eye out for more on Housler.
