The Raiders are loaded with fast players. However, Jones’ speed just seems to be otherwordly, especially when he gets into the open field.

So wrote Tribune staffer Steve Corkran in noting that Jones highlighted an impressive three-day mini-camp showing with a run on which he juked cornerback Shawntae Spencer near the line of scrimmage, emerged into the secondary and blew past two other would-be tacklers down the left side line. ... While there's no doubt Jones is one of the fastest backs in the NFL, health was an issue last season. He was slowed by a hamstring pull that limited him to 10 games last year. Adding to the questions, the Raiders brought in some competition when they acquired Mike Goodson in a trade with Carolina. The good news for Jones? The Raiders will likely use Goodson as a backup to starter Darren McFadden with Jones serving as more of a change-of-pace, third-down type player -- which would make Jones of more Fantasy interest (assuming McFadden's current good health is ongoing). Based on speed alone, Jones is worth watching.
