The Facts:
If there's a sudden flurry of activity in the Dolphins wide receiver corps, credit the lurking presence of former six-time Pro Bowler Ochocinco. Ochocinco was noticeably quick during the team's initial mini-camp session Tuesday. He also made some eye-popping plays including a back shoulder reception as he fell to the ground against cornerback Sean Smith.

After his least productive season in the NFL, Ochocinco signed
a one-year incentive-heavy contract last week with the Dolphins to compete for a roster spot. He also hopes to resuscitate his career. "I think Chad is trying to prove to everybody that he's still Chad," QB David Garrard said. ... Ochocinco is now working to catch up on the scheme. HC Joe Philbin estimates Ochocinco missed 78 percent of the installation of a new West Coast offensive scheme. Reports out of New England, where he had just 15 catches in as many games for 276 yards and one touchdown, indicate Ochocinco's drop in production in his lone season as a Patriot was due to his lack of aptitude for the playbook. In Miami, Philbin said "so far so good. ..." Stay tuned.
