The Facts:
Whether former Vikings coach Mike Tice will face a league investigation for tampering remains to be seen. Tice, hired Wednesday as the Jaguars' assistant head coach/offense, said on a Jacksonville radio show that night that he had talked to one of the Vikings' potential free agents about joining him there.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello, asked Friday about a possible tampering investigation, said, "We're getting ready for the Super Bowl and will deal with other matters next week." Vikings VP of football operations Rob Brzezinski declined comment on whether the team planned to file tampering charges with the league.
