Aaron Rodgers Voted No. 1 Player In The NFL By Peers
(6/28 10:1 PT)

The Facts:
Rodgers won the 2011 NFL MVP award in a landslide. We don't get the full voting results from NFL Network's "The Top 100: Players of 2012," but we suspect this race wasn't close either. Rodgers' peers voted him the No. 1 player on this year's list. Reported by NFL.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Rodgers only ranked No. 11 a year ago, after winning the Super Bowl. Even though the Green Bay Packers didn't go as far in the playoffs this time around, NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal suggests Rodgers' rise in the rankings was well deserved. It's hard to argue the point. Rodgers led the NFL in passing with a 122.5 rating (an NFL milestone) built on 45 touchdown passes, six interceptions and a 68.3 completion percentage as the Packers went 15-1 and won the NFC North. Along the way, Rodgers led the offense to a club record 560 points. ... From a Fantasy perspective, Rodgers won't go first overall in your draft, but he's not going to make it out of the first round, either. (Click HERE to review the entire Top-100 players for 2012.)
