The Facts:
On SportsCenter Friday, Adam Schefter reported that Garrard’s play this spring has put him ahead of Matt Moore and Ryan Tannehill as the team heads toward training camp. “The more you hear, the more it sounds like David Garrard has really taken this opportunity to emerge as the favorite to be the starting quarterback down in Miami,” said Schefter. “Very impressive, adept, good footwork. Matt Moore’s been good, Ryan Tannehill’s been good, but David Garrard has looked the most comfortable of any of the quarterbacks.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
We'll see. ... At this point, we'll note there's a major difference between "sounds like" and "is." All three men will continue to compete in training camp and we currently prefer Moore -- based on his solid play last season. That said, the Dolphins are clearly looking upgrade (see their offseason pursuits-flirtations of/with Peyton Manning, Matt Flynn and Alex Smith and the addition to Tannehill and Garrard). Based on our last looks at Garrard, he doesn't seem to be an upgrade. Whatever the case, we'll continue to follow up as needed while advising early Fantasy drafters to avoid the situation until we gain some clarity.
