The Facts:
The
Kellen Winslow era in Seattle apparently almost never happened. Tom Pelissero of 1500ESPN.com reported Friday that Shiancoe rejected a one-year, $1.2 million offer from the Seattle Seahawks earlier this offseason.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal notes, Shiancoe visited the Seahawks on March 19, well before they acquired Winslow. There would have been no need for the Seahawks to add two aging tight ends with similar skill sets. The fact that Winslow wound up in Seattle -- and Dallas Clark replaced him in Tampa Bay -- might have more to do with Shiancoe's price tag and the willingness of the others to take less.
