The Facts:
According to MLive.com's Anwar Richardson, Best will receive the majority of carries early on for Detroit as Mikel Leshoure serves a two-game suspension. Lions GM Martin Mayhew recently said he expects a breakthrough season for Best, which could occur if he stays injury free.

Best rushed for 555 yards and four touchdowns as a rookie, plus had 487 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Last season, Best had 390 rushing yards and two touchdowns, plus 287 receiving yards and one touchdown before his latest concussion injury. And that's the concern. While Best declared himself “symptom free," that wasn't until the first week of June. He had two documented concussions at Cal, and two more last season. Still, Best claims he’s ”not at all concerned” about his concussion history. We'll also notes that Best probably won’t get full medical clearance until just before training camp.
