Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Broncos' strong-legged kicker missed the team's entire offseason program in protest of his $2.654 million franchise tag, which was tendered in lieu of a long-term contract. The new deal ensures Prater will be with the team when training camp opens with physicals and meetings July 25. The first two-a-day session will be July 26. Prater had an outstanding 2011 season, kicking a 59-yard field goal with three seconds remaining to tie the Bears and send that game to overtime. He then followed with a 51-yard field goal to win the game, 13-10. Prater is the most accurate kicker in NFL history for field goals of 50 yards or more, having hit 12 of 16.
