previous item. ... Moss cast such a favorable impression during offseason workouts that HC Jim Harbaugh is calling him the 49ers’ best receiver, according to SiriusXM NFL Radio’s Rich Gannon. Gannon said Harbaugh told him: “This offseason he’s been incredible. He’s our best receiver right now.”

As Mercury News staffer Cam Inman notes, Moss has earned praise throughout the offseason program. So it shouldn’t came as a surprise that Moss merited Harbaugh’s lofty endorsement to Gannon. But what does it mean from a Fantasy perspective? We'll remind you that Moss was unable to produce for three different teams in 2010 and he sat out 2011. We'll also remind you there's a big difference between being the best player on the field in June and in September. But Moss' past production will make him of some interest as long as he's on the field. And the more positive hype that comes out, the more Moss' ADP is going to climb. We'll be watching his progress in camp with a skeptical eye, but if Moss can regain past form, he'll obviously be of interest on draft day.
