The Facts:
Schaub has been healthy for weeks, but HC Gary Kubiak kept him out of the organized team activities and mini-camp as a precaution. Schaub has been working with his receivers, including Andre Johnson, at the University of Houston. Under the new collective bargaining agreement, players aren’t allowed to work out at their facility at this time as they usually do, so they have to find another place to prepare for camp. “I’m 100 percent, ready to go with no restrictions,” Schaub said. “Andre looks great. He’s also 100 percent and ready to go.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Schaub said being able to work with his receivers before camp was crucial because he’s missed so much time after undergoing surgery to repair the Lisfranc joint in his foot. “To be able to catch up with those guys, to throw to moving targets, to work on my play-passes, my movement stuff -- to do everything I’m going to be asked to do in games -- is very important to me,” Schaub said. “I know what I need to do to be ready, and I’m ready and excited to get to camp. ...Our expectation level is higher than it’s ever been, and all of us couldn’t be more excited about getting back on the field. ...” A healthy Schaub makes the Texans offense a more dangerous and Fantasy-friendly unit and knowing he's taking the time to get in sync with Johnson and the rest of the receivers adds to the positive vibe.
