The Facts:
Panthers rookies and assorted players who missed portions of the OTAs and mincamp will assemble at the team's Charlotte, N.C., practice facility for a three-day rookie camp starting Monday. Though he's not coming off an injury Newton will be among the players in attendance to work on his timing with the rookie receivers. "That’ll give us a chance to get those guys a little more acclimated because they really didn’t get a chance to participate in mini-camp,” HC Ron Rivera told the Observer. “It’ll give us a chance to see where they all are. Hopefully, they’re all 100 percent.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Panthers used a fourth-round draft pick on wide receiver Joe Adams and added a handful of undrafted receivers, including Jared Green and Rico Wallace. According to a source with knowledge of their contracts, Green and Wallace each received $7,500 signing bonuses, tying for the highest handed out by the Panthers this offseason. Those bonuses are a sign that the two could be in the mix for spots on the 53-man roster this season. Panthers veterans report to Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C., on July 27 and the team will conduct its first full-squad practice this Saturday.
