Charges Against Dion Lewis Dropped
(7/23 8:57 PT)

The Facts:
The story of one the NFL's more embarrassing offseason arrests has ended without any legal consequences for Lewis. The Philadelphia Daily News reported Monday that Lewis will not face charges in connection with his arrest for allegedly pulling a fire alarm outside an upstate New York hotel last month. Reported by NFL.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
After returning from a night of revelry, Lewis and his brother found themselves locked out of their hotel. Police said they attempted to solve the problem with the help of the fire alarm. Both men were charged with falsely reporting an incident (a Class E felony) and reckless endangerment of property (a Class B misdemeanor). Their hearing was pushed back to this week to give Albany's newly designated attorney time to catch up on the case. The D.A. concluded there was "no evidence a fire alarm was ever pulled." Lewis heads to training camp Wednesday, where he's currently in line to serve as LeSean McCoy's primary backup.
