Still recovering from a torn ACL suffered late last season, Mendenhall was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list today as camp opened for the team.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Six members of the team will begin the journey on the physically unable to perform list. They are safety Damon Cromartie-Smith, nose tackle Casey Hampton, linebacker James Harrison, running back Rashard Mendenhall, tackle Max Starks, and linebacker Jason Worilds. Isaac Redman is in line to be the primary beneficiary of Mendenhall's absence that could go on well into the season or beyond though being placed on the PUP list now does not require that he miss any portion of the season at this point.
