Best suffered two concussions last year and spent the final 10 games of the season on injured reserve. He started working out again last December and took part in no-contact practices during the Lions’ off-season program. The Lions are counting on Best to be a major contributor in their backfield this year, along with Mikel Leshoure and Kevin Smith. Leshoure is coming off a torn Achilles tendon that cost him all of his rookie season and is suspended the first two games of the year. Best has visited with a handful of concussion experts since the end of last season and said last month he wasn’t worried about his concussion history. We'll suggest that Fantasy owners should be. ...
