The Facts:
Alexander used to be the recruiter at the Pro Bowl, but this week he was the recruit. As the NFL's most high-profile free agent to be, Alexander listened to his share of sales pitches from the other all-stars. "That's how Pro Bowls are," he said. "You get the best players, and everybody wants to win, and at the same time you kind of want to say, 'Aw, you're a star. Come be with us.'"

Alexander said talks between his agents and the Seahawks will resume today, but the Cardinals and Panthers are rumored to be interested. Neither team can officially express that, or they face tampering sanctions from the NFL. But nothing can stop players from talking. "I never really thought I could be with another team," Alexander said. "But it was neat to be with the Carolina guys."
