The Facts:
Following up on a
previous item. ... All three players who failed the conditioning test Sunday - Jones, WR Andre Holmes and S Brodney Pool - passed Wednesday morning when they re-took the test as the rest of the Cowboys were going through their daily walkthrough. The three players won't practice this afternoon with the team, HC Jason Garrett said, and will return to practice Friday after the team takes Thursday off.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Each player had to run 60 yards in less than 8 seconds 20 times. There were two sets of 10 and between each set the players had two minutes of down time and between each sprint they had 30 seconds of down time. Jones had his hands on his head at times late in the test and Holmes was bending over, holding his knees at times. Toward the end of the test Wednesday, each of the three players were encouraging each other to push through and finish. ... Not going to read too much into Jones' failure. And we'll note that Holmes suggested he might have focused too much on long-distance running and not enough on sprinting this offseason. Whatever the case, back to business as usual for all three men.
