The Facts:
Following up on the
ongoing story. ... After a fast start to training camp, Locker has cooled down. At the same time, veteran Matt Hasselbeck has heated up.
Hasselbeck was 9-of-9 in team drills during Thursday night’s practice, and the 14th-year pro even showed some nifty moves when he escaped the pocket.
Reported by the Nashville Tennessean
Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Hasselbeck is 26-of-31 in the last two practices. Locker, meanwhile, had a tough night on Thursday. His first seven passes were incomplete, and he finished a dismal 1-for-10 with an interception (safety Jordan Babineaux). Locker is a combined 9-of-30 with an interception the past two practices. According to Tennessean staffer Jimy Wyatt, Locker didn’t have a lot of luck on Thursday. Nate Washington dropped his best throw of the night when he was streaking down the middle of the field, and one of Locker’s targets was interfered with. But Wyatt added that Locker had no one to blame but himself on several errant throws, when the football sailed on him. ... Stay tuned. This competition could roll into next month.
