Childs was attended to by four different trainers and no further details are available at this time. It was anticipated that he would be the player to fill in during the season-opening suspension that Jerome Simpson will be serving, but an extended absence would impact that. Childs torn the patella in his right knee in college, so a return of damage to that area could be a big deal. There is no further information at this time.
