"I have decided to retire from the NFL," was the statement Thomas posted. After being the No. 34 overall selection of the 2008 NFL Draft, Thomas never did get his game going in the NFL at that position. He accumulated 43 catches, 3 touchdowns and 482 receiving yards over the course of his career, but he had re-invented himself as a solid special-teams player as of late.
