It's known that Bryant was dealing with hamstring issues as he entered camp, so it's possible that they played a part in his release today. Now 31 years old, he's not had an NFL reception in three years. It's worth recalling that he was not in game shape during a June tryout with the team. Though it appears he was never a threat to crack the starting lineup in Seattle, this is good news for Golden Tate being able to secure that role.
