Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The team doesn’t feel that the injury is as serious as either of the hamstring pulls that wound up keeping Austin out of six games last season, but they are using those injuries as a guide to make sure that there’s no lingering absence. “We just have to learn from that experience and he has to learn from that experience,” head coach Jason Garrett said. “Making sure he’s getting all the hydration he needs, getting all the treatment. He’s been doing all that stuff, but we have to make sure we’re somewhat cautious with him in making sure we’re not getting him back too soon and then when we get him back making sure we continue to monitor that…" It sounds like the Cowboys are doing everything they can to ensure Austin is ready for Week 1.
