Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that Richardon's trip includes a tentatively schedule arthroscopic surgery to clean up a "loose particle of cartilage." Mort calls it a "proactive" minor procedure not related to Richardson's meniscus surgery on the same knee. No matter how "minor" the surgery is, this news is a major concern for the Browns considering Richardson's injury history. The Browns are planning to make him the backbone of their offense. At the very least, they might have to back off those plans to use Richardson as a workhorse back early in the season.
