Peterson worked out with the Vikings today in practice. The only way for that to have happened is for him to have been removed from the PUP list.

Being removed from the PUP list means Peterson cannot start the 2012 regular season on the reserve/PUP list. He is already working with the first team at Vikings practice. There never were any setbacks during his recovery process which has proceeded at a remarkable pace, but this does yet mean that he is locked in as the primary back of the offense come Week 1 of the season. His recovery is still ongoing, but he is eager to get hit and get back to playing football. Expect this news to push up his average draft position in all Fantasy league formats.
