The Facts:
Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Redman will undergo an MRI on his groin Wednesday.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Redman played through the injury in the preseason opener, but he's struggled since. The Steelers already are practicing without starter Rashard Mendenhall, who is expected to miss the first six weeks of the season on the reserve/physically unable to perform list. Redman was the starter with Mendenhall out, but he hasn't practiced since the team's preseason game last Thursday. Redman is a solid professional. We're not so sure about his backups -- Jonathan Dwyer, rookie Chris Rainey and Baron Batch. As NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal suggests, Todd Haley might be forced to throw the ball like crazy early in the season if Redman's injury proves serious.
