Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As PFT notes, the former fifth-rounder pick has looked steadier than expensive mistake Kevin Kolb. After trading a second-round pick and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to Philadelphia, the Cards gave Kolb a six-year, $65 million deal. Of course, Skelton looking better is fairly relative, as neither Cardinals quarterback has looked like much this preseason. They’re going to have trouble protecting either one, so we strongly suspect the man who opens the season as the starter will struggle to remain in the locked an upright position. That said, we do prefer Skelton from a Fantasy perspective, if for no other reason than he does a better job of standing in the pocket at getting the ball down the field when the time comes.
