The Facts:
Following up on the ongoing story. ... X-rays on his injured foot were negative, HC Mike Shanahan said, but Garcon was too sore to return to today's win over the Saints. The receiver was optimistic about his short-term future. “I’m feeling good. Should be good to go next week,” he said. “We’ll get it checked on, I’ll be ready back for St. Louis.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Garcon, who caught Griffin’s first three passes, also had his back stretched out and missed some plays but didn’t seem to be bothered by that. As Times staffer Stephen Whyno suggests, if Garcon is good to go next week at the level he was on the 88-yard TD catch and run that was his last play in New Orleans, the Rams could be in trouble. It was the kind of play the Redskins expected when they signed him in the offseason, turning a short catch into a crowd-killer just one play from scrimmage after the Saints took a 7-3 lead. It's also exactly the kind of play Fantasy owners were hoping Garcon and Robert Griffin III would put together. Seems like it won't be the last.
