The Facts:
GM Mark Dominik addressed Blount's mysterious injury situation this morning. Dominik said Blount did not suffer a concussion, but the team remains unclear about what, if anything, is going on. To that end, Blount will not practice today and is undergoing testing on his neck and back after exhibiting a shaking motion after taking a hit in the second quarter on Sunday.

"I can categorically confirm it has nothing to do with concussions whatsoever," Dominik said before adding the team would do its due diligence to make sure Blount is sound. That includes doing an MRI on Blount's neck and back. Asked whether Blount was exhibiting any signs of injury, Dominik said: “For us, regardless of whether he feels good, we’re still going to do the battery of tests to make sure there’s nothing going on. ...” We'll be following up on this one throughout the week, but it appears Doug Martin owners can continue to play their guy without great concern about Blount cutting into his carries.
