Nicks was not practicing today during the portion open to the media.

Nicks, who said it's going to take a game or two to get back to his normal self, played in the season opener against the Dallas Cowboys and had four catches for 38 yards. But it looks like Nicks' surgically-repaired right foot is going to keep him sidelined from time-to-time during the week in order to rest it. According to Newark Star-Ledger staffer Jorge Castillo, Nicks was on a stationary bike for a few minutes before making his way over to the wide receivers to watch. ... Fantasy owners shouldn't get too worked up at this point. We'll obviously be following up through the weekend but it will be a major surprise if Nicks isn't ready to play this Sunday.
