The Facts:
In his Monday press conference, Eagles head coach Andy Reid said that wide receiver Jeremy Maclin sustained a new hip contusion after taking a knee to the hip while making a block. Maclin had already been been dealing with a hip flexor/hip pointer injury that limited him in practice for most of the previous week. Reid described Maclin as being in very sore and said his availability for Wednesday practice was up-in-the-air. Maclin caught one pass for 23 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-23 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Maclin is the Hakeem Nicks of the Philadelphia Eagles—always seems to have an ailment of one sort or another; yet sucks it up and toughs it out on game day. Expect Philly to keep Maclin limited in practice until later in the week. We'll keep you posted on any updates to his condition or if his status for Week 3 versus the Arizona Cardinals is in jeopardy.
