The Facts:
Following up on a
previous item, Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey noted on Monday that the results of Blaine Gabbert's MRI showed the injury originally identified as a hamstring problem was more like a "butt muscle" injury. According to Gene Frenette of the Florida-Times Union, Mularkey said Gabbert's tests checked out well and that while he may be limited in practice Wednesday, the team expects him to be ready to face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While Gabbert looked much improved after Week 1, we saw more of the 2011 version when he took on the Houston Texans this past Sunday. Gabbert completed just 7-of-19 passes for 53 yards and a touchdown before he left the game. Although he isn't particularly fantasy relevant on his own, owners invested in Jacksonville's skill players including Maurice Jones-Drew, Justin Blackmon and Laurent Robinson are probably better off with Gabbert in the lineup than his backup Chad Henne.
