The Facts:
Following up on a
previous item, Cardinals tight end Todd Heap told the media that he has a sprained PCL (Posterior Cruciate Ligament) sustained in the third quarter of Sunday's game versus the Patriots. Heap also wasn’t thrilled it happened on a late hit, delivered by safety Steve Gregory. “I’ve seen that happen before and unfortunately it was my turn,” Heap said. “I don’t know if there is a reason to come in and hit guys late like that, but it happened and you move on.” While Heap's MRI showed no structural damage, his status his day-to-day. The oft-injured tight end isn't sure whether he'll play in Arizona's Week 3 meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While durability issues have downgraded Heap's fantasy value to TE2 or lower, he and quarterback Kevin Kolb were developing good chemistry—something that proves useful when opposing defenses double-team Pro Bowl receiver Larry Fitzgerald. If Heap misses time, expect Rob Housler and Jeff King to get more looks.
